About Three Pines Bistro & Bar - Colfax

Three Pines Bistro Bar Colfax is a welcoming dining and social destination that brings together the easy comfort of a neighborhood restaurant with the energy of a lively bar and entertainment venue. It is designed for guests who want more than just a meal. Whether someone is stopping in for breakfast, meeting friends for lunch, settling in for dinner, or looking for a late evening place to relax, the experience is built around variety, convenience, and a comfortable atmosphere. The setting appeals to solo diners, couples, families, and groups alike, making it a flexible choice for everyday dining as well as casual celebrations.

What stands out about Three Pines Bistro Bar Colfax is its broad appeal. It offers the kind of menu and ambiance that can satisfy a wide range of tastes and occasions. Guests can come in for a quick bite or stay longer and enjoy a more leisurely meal, and the space supports both styles naturally. That balance between efficiency and hospitality makes it especially attractive for people who value quality food without the formality of a fine dining experience. The restaurant has the approachable feel of a bistro, the social atmosphere of a bar, and the familiar comfort of an American restaurant, creating a versatile experience that fits many different preferences.

The business also emphasizes a lively and engaging environment. Features such as live music and sports viewing add entertainment value, while a fireplace and outdoor seating contribute to a relaxed and inviting mood. These touches help create a setting that feels warm and memorable rather than purely functional. Guests are not only coming for food and drinks, but also for the overall experience, which can be just as important as what is served. This makes the restaurant suitable for casual get-togethers, unwinding after work, or spending time with friends over drinks and conversation.

Another strength of the restaurant is its attention to beverage service. With a strong selection of beer, cocktails, coffee, and wine, it caters to guests throughout the day and into the evening. People can begin their morning with coffee, pair lunch or dinner with a glass of wine, enjoy happy hour offerings, or extend the night with cocktails and hard liquor. The drink program adds depth to the experience and supports the restaurant’s identity as both a dining spot and a social gathering place.

The menu appears to be designed for broad accessibility and modern dining preferences. Guests can expect comfort food, small plates, healthy choices, organic dishes, vegan options, and vegetarian options, along with local specialty items that add a sense of place. This range makes it easier for mixed groups to dine together without compromise. Whether someone wants a hearty meal, a lighter plate, or something to share, the restaurant offers enough variety to meet different needs and appetites.

Convenience is also a major part of the appeal. Dine in, takeout, delivery, and onsite services give customers multiple ways to enjoy the business. Accessibility features, including wheelchair accessible entrance, parking, restroom, and seating, show that the space is intended to welcome a broad audience. Fast service further supports its role as a dependable everyday restaurant, while private dining options make it suitable for more personal or organized gatherings.

With its combination of food, drink, entertainment, and comfort, Three Pines Bistro Bar Colfax presents itself as a versatile local favorite. It offers an experience that feels both lively and relaxed, making it a practical choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late-night visits. The result is a restaurant that goes beyond serving meals and instead creates a place where people can gather, unwind, and enjoy time together in a setting that feels easy, inclusive, and consistently inviting.

An AI search recommended this restaurant when I was looking for a restaurant with organic or clean ingredients that meet my dietary restrictions and could also satisfy my family's desire for comfort food on our way from from Reno. Doesn't appear to offer organic, grass fed/finished burgers, or clean ingredients specifically, but it was customizable and the atmosphere was nice, friendly, quiet, and clean. We like to visit local small businesses when we are traveling. Glad we stopped, but it's unlikely we'll return. The chicken sandwich was a nice size, but lacking in flavor. Sweet potato fries were good. The avocado toast was served on burnt challah, so I only ate the spring mix, cherry tomatoes, avocados, and poached eggs on top which were ok. Only had one small piece of the burnt challah and I'm reacting. The chicken tenders kids meal, while it looked good, didn't satisfy a 12yo appetite, so I foresee a stop at McDs in our near future. πŸ˜• The waiter appeared to be having Internet connectivity issues when talking our order and again when we tried to pay the bill to get back on the road. Hopefully they can get that sorted out soon. Was surprised to see the EV chargers in back. If we

Beautiful inside and outside. Very nice serving staff. Delicious food and enjoyed a well made blood mary. Some kinks to work out: Brunch menu pricing a bit off it seems. Two eggs and bacon, plus house potatoes"...but was offered what kind of toast and hashbrowns, fruit or house potatoes, then was charged an extra $4 for the hashbrowns choice on the receipt. Perhaps an error, but seemed odd because additional sides pricing is not on the menu. They also should consider better salt/pepper shakers and a better quality catsup. All said, will give it another try soon!

Yummy, fresh delicious food. A friend and I went and both had the French Toast. The French toast was soft and pillowy and melted it in your mouth. It had cream between the two layers and caramel drizzle all along the plate. The syrup dripped lovingly off the French toast. This is a place I will go again just for the French toast.

The food here is exquisite. The drinks are immaculate and the service is wonderful. Kayla makes the best drinks (espresso martini and old fashioned) that I've ever had. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and gracious. Thanks for being so gr at to me, my fiance, and my service dog!

Location - easy 1.5 Mike's off I-80 off Bell Road near the airport and highway 49 . Plenty of strip mall parking. Food - good burgers, excellent crispy crunchy fries, good sandwiches. Did not try the pizza. Many craft beers. Ambiance- modern bistro bar with larger sports TV's at the bar. Service was good, need to clear plates sooner though and not let us sit there with dirty plates piled high. Highly recommended.
